Brahma Yoga is one of the yogas mentioned in B.V. Raman's book 300 Important Combination. Brahma is part of tridev(holy trinity) in Hinduism with Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.

Param Pitaah Brahma is known as father of all creations including living organism and non-living entities. He is the one who creates universe from scratch after Shiva destroys previous one.

Brahma Yoga is comparatively simple yoga which requires only the Main Chart(D-1 Chart). For Brahma Yoga to happen in horoscope:

• Jupiter must be placed in quadrant from lord of ninth house.
• Venus must be placed in quadrant from lord of eleventh house.
• Mercury must be placed in quadrant from lord of either ascendant(first house) or tenth house.

In simple words Jupiter, Venus and Mercury need to be in first house, fourth house, seventh house or tenth house counted from ninth lord, eleventh lord and ascendant lord/tenth lord respectively.

• South Style

 

According to B. V. Raman a person with Brahma Yoga will be knowledgeable and respected by religious seers and learned men. He/She maybe able to enjoy luxurious food and company of aristocratic nobles. Brahma Yoga is also said to grant long life and make one charitable by nature. Generally such individuals are known for their noble deeds which does not harm others.

Brahma is considered God of Knowledge. Its apt that yoga associated with him gives riches via knowledge. Brahma Yoga involves planets Jupiter and Venus both of whom are considered as brahmins or learned class. Mercury is planet of education and general knowledge, Jupiter is planet of knowledge and wisdom while Venus is planet of aristocracy and pleasaure. Brahma Yoga gives good knowledge and education and helps individuals live in company of rich and elites.

This yoga becomes quite powerful and on par with a Raj Yoga if Mercury, Jupiter and Venus happen to be in quadrant houses from ascendant and are not associated or aspected by malefics. Mercury, Jupiter and Venus placed in quadrant houses would give good results even if Brahma Yoga is not formed. That is cause four quadrant houses represent childhood, youth, middle-age and old age in vedic astrology. These houses having natural benefics Jupiter, Venus and Mercury is a guarantee from horoscope of a smooth, easy and successful life.
