     Most people who follow vedic astrology know there are nine planets. Placements and aspects of these nine planets is largely used to give a prediction. Modern day interpretation also uses Neptune, Uranus and Pluto to some extent. Some of the knowledge regarding the nine planets is known to all but there are also things which are less known or there is confusion about it. Below are some basics and other lesser known information regarding the nine planets.

Bhagyoday means rise of luck. Planets mature after a certain age and start giving good fruits. So if a planet is strong than he would start giving good fruits after specified period of life has passed. For example Saturn turns lucky after 36 years if he is strong in horoscope.
